NobleCanni Series: (7) “Be Heard Here”

     If you’ve read a parenting book, you know that one of our deepest needs as people is to feel heard and to have our thoughts, our feelings, acknowledged. It’s one of the key ingredients to raising a well-rounded, well-developed kid… and one of the key ingredients to any substantial relationship. To feel listened to, heard, and understood by your person. What’s more, it follows into every aspect of our lives: if we don’t feel heard at school, we skip class; if we don’t feel heard at work, we grow bitter and snide; at home, we grow resentful; in life, we get unhappy and, consequently, ugly.
